Description

The Levenhuk Fatum Z600 Thermo Vision Monocular can detect live targets in total darkness quickly. It is suitable for outdoor use due to its impressive maximum operating range of 2400 meters (7870ft) – at this distance, you can detect an object the size of a car. It is possible to locate and detect small targets at 300–1000 meters (1000–3280ft), e.g., a hare, deer, wild boar, or human being. You can use the thermo vision monocular to observe non-living targets, for example, to check industrial facilities or machinery.

The thermo vision sensor resolution is 400x300pix, which provides sharp images. You can select the most suitable color palette – there are six options available. There is a picture-in-picture feature and hot spot detection. The optical magnification of the device is 2.3x, which can be further increased with digital magnification ranging 1–4x with smooth magnification adjustment across the entire range. The laser designator, which has a working range of 200 meters (660ft), can be used when observing in harsh environments.

The thermo vision monocular is equipped with a recorder that can capture both photos and video. It is recorded in the 16GB internal memory. The monocular also has a rangefinder, so you can quickly calculate the distance to the target.

You can connect the device to an iOS or Android smartphone via Wi-Fi to view images on the display in real time (via the TargetIR mobile app), and Bluetooth provides an option for remote control. You can also output the image to an external display via a microHDMI connection. The Type-C port is used to charge the device and transfer recorded data to a PC.

The device is powered by a pair of rechargeable batteries. Its total capacity is 6000 mAh, which is enough for 5 hours of continuous operation. It is worth mentioning the design features of the device. Firstly, it is fully waterproof, i.e., it won’t be affected by heavy rain or any accidental splashes. Secondly, it has a 1/4" mount for mounting on a tripod.
