Description

The darkfield condenser is used in the darkfield microscopy. The darkfield technique in stereomicroscopy is used for gemological research in order to evaluate and detect the hidden defects in precious, semi-precious, and ornamental stones. The darkfield condenser is installed above the transmitted light illuminator into the base of the stereomicroscope in place of the transparent insert.
