Description

The MAGUS CBF90 Digital Camera for a microscope is a professional tool for taking photographs and recording videos, editing, viewing, and saving footage, and organizing demonstrations by displaying the image on an external screen.
The device should be used with 20x, 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives when working using the brightfield method.

Video modes

MAGUS CBF90 has two graphics modes: 2448x2048px (with a frame rate of 35fps) and 1224x1024px (50fps). This is enough to capture clear informative photographs and smooth videos that accurately record all of the movements of the sample and the features of the observed processes.

Sensor

The camera uses a SONY Exmor backlit CMOS sensor to improve performance in low-light conditions.
The large physical size of the sensor (2/3") improves the image: It deepens the colors, removes distortion, and expands the field of view. You can further improve this result by using an adapter with a magnification of 0.7x to 0.9x.

Faster work

The USB3.0 interface of the camera speeds up data transfer by 10 times compared to the previous generation. This feature is especially useful when organizing classroom demonstrations: The audience will not miss anything, as the videos will be smooth and without jerkiness.

Installation

The camera is installed in the microscope trinocular tube (requires a C-mount adapter) or in the eyepiece tube (requires an adapter and an adapter ring of a suitable diameter).

Key features:

  • Two resolution and fps modes for crisp photos and informative videos
  • Transfer data quickly from your device with a USB3.0 port
  • Sensor with a light sensitivity of 1146mV at 1/30s for work in normal and low light conditions
  • The required camera software is included
  • Ability to make linear and angular measurements of the objects under study (after successful software calibration)

The kit includes:

  • Digital camera
  • USB cable
  • Installation CD with drivers and software
  • User manual and warranty card
