Taking stock of year 2024 and looking ahead to new achievements in 2025!
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, and commitment that you have demonstrated in our cooperation in the year 2024.
This year has been full of various events and exhibitions, where we had an opportunity to showcase our products to a wide audience and establish many promising contacts. We have significantly expanded our product range and manufactured about 300 new items! This year, our efforts have been mainly focused on promoting the MAGUS brand of professional microscopes and the Ermenrich brand of measuring tools. The year 2024 has been an anniversary year for the company. We have also launched a new website and redesigned our existing ones! Read about all of this and more in our end-of-year newsletter.
We are confident that 2025 will bring us even more ambitious projects and outstanding achievements.
20 years of operation
In 2024, the Levenhuk celebrated 20 years of operation! Once a small American company dreaming big to make optics affordable to every customer, Levenhuk is now one of the market leaders in optical equipment and our brands are available in 42 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, and South Africa.
This past year has witnessed the rapid growth of our team — the number of our staff members increased by 30%. Due to these changes, we needed to revise our internal communication channels and we successfully implemented several business systems, which help our processes run smoothly and efficiently. A number of team building events, presentations, and a series of business training games enabled the new employees to quickly gain an understanding of the corporate culture and establish working relationships.
Product range and brand development
In 2024, we significantly expanded our product range with nearly 300 new products of the Levenhuk, Ermenrich, and MAGUS brands. Below, we will focus in more detail on the last two brands whose development we have been actively promoting throughout the year, and it has borne fruit.
For 2025, we have already designed and put into production about 400 new items of optics and measuring tools.
Ermenrich
In the past year, we made incredible efforts to develop and reinforce the Ermenrich brand.
Firstly, we launched more than 60 new products: multimeters, digital clamp meters, laser levels and tape measures, sound level meters, luxmeters, anemometers, various testers, indicators, and others. Today, the range of measuring tools consists of more than 200 items of instruments.
Secondly, we fully redesigned the brand: The best experts were involved in changing all of the brand’s identity, namely the logo, fonts, and color palette; the packaging and advertising materials were also updated and now they are bright, eye-catching, and stand out from the crowd. Quality branding significantly improved the visibility of our tools, which had a very positive effect on sales performance.
To round off the successful year, we launched the much-anticipated Ermenrich.com branded website.
In 2025, we will continue to expand our range with new lines of products and seek to further promote the brand globally.
MAGUS
The MAGUS brand of professional microscopes was a top priority in 2024.
We put a lot of thought into the design and development of microscopes to create truly user-friendly professional tools. In 2024, more than 100 new models went on sale: biological, fluorescence, metallurgical, polarizing, and stereoscopic microscopes as well as accessories.
Our microscopes are growing in popularity at an incredible rate, which is something we are proud of. We are remembered after the first contact. We were also received warmly at the events and then contacted again to find solutions for the most challenging professional tasks in scientific institutions, laboratories, and industrial enterprises.
In 2025, we are going to complete the product range to meet the current market demands and launch a large number of accessories to expand the contrast techniques of available microscopes.
International exhibitions
During 2024, we took part in a large number of various events, trade shows, and fairs in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Slovakia, and the UAE. Some events were attended by our team, and in others, the optical instruments of our brands were showcased at our partners’ booths. With some of the exhibitions, we signed contracts for participation in the next year’s events.

Didacta | Italy, March The exhibition brought together all those working in education, including representatives of educational institutions, teachers, school leaders, educators, and trainers as well as professionals and entrepreneurs working in schools and the education technology sector. BULMEDICA | Bulgaria, May The annual exhibition brings together Bulgarian and foreign experts in the field of medicine to exchange experience and information about trends in the industry as well as technologies, products, and brands. LABOREXPO | Czech Republic, June The most important laboratory technology event that is held every two years and showcases a wide range of products, from consumables and analytical instruments to laboratory devices, furniture, all of the necessary equipment, and accessories. EXPOMADEIRA | Portugal, July Traditionally, the aim of the event is to provide entrepreneurs and companies with an opportunity to draw attention to their products and services, speak to a wide audience about their operations, conduct test drives and demonstrations, and go about networking with other business organizations. Agrokomplex | Slovakia, August The Levenhuk brand of optical tools was presented at three agricultural and food exhibitions held at Agrokomplex exhibition center in Nitra, Slovakia: Agrokomplex; Hunting, Fishing, and Beekeeping; National Exhibition of Farm Animals. ArabLab | UAE, September One of the world’s largest trade shows in the field of laboratory equipment and technology. Particular attention was given to our range of biological microscopes, which were highly appreciated by experts from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates. Warsaw Medical Expo | Poland, November One of the key international industry events dedicated to medical and laboratory technologies and innovations. At this exhibition, we won an award for our microscopes and the most attractive booth. |
Web projects
In the past year, we continued to update the company’s websites. Following the redesign of the wholesale sites, we also transformed all the language versions of the sites for our retail customers, namely the Levenhuk B2C sites in English, Italian, Czech, Polish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Turkish, German and Spanish.
It is not only an updated visual identity that the new website design provides, but also many new convenient features that we have added to the user’s personal account. Website navigation is now even more convenient and intuitively easy to understand.
This year has also seen the long-awaited launch of the Ermenrich brand website. Modern fast engine, stylish design, and well-thought-out navigation are the main features of the website. The mobile version is adapted for all popular devices. It also has a convenient TabBar and high speed of operation.
We continue our relentless efforts to move forward and evolve in current trends. New websites are one more step forward in reaching new heights.
Dealer network development and support
Over the past year, we have been joined by around 50 dealers in countries such as Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Sweden, and Turkey. There are more and more areas where our dealers operate, and this is certainly something we are happy about. There is more to come!
It is not just the growth of our dealer network we are striving for but also effective cooperation with our partners. We are available 24/7 via any communication channel and we promptly resolve issues that arise and are always open to new ideas. The dealer center on our wholesale website allows for the visual tracking of margins, staying up to date with the latest product arrivals, and receiving personalized offers. The personal account also contains manuals, data feeds for easy downloading of the product catalog, price lists, banners, logos, and other useful materials.
Promotion
In 2024, we updated the marketing strategy for promoting our products. The team of professionals was actively involved in creating video content: More than 200 attractive visual and informative review videos of Levenhuk, Ermenrich, and MAGUS products were shot. We made efforts to create colorful banners as well as catalogs and brand presenters, which provide good guidance for the large variety of products. We closely cooperated with the dealers to come up with creative solutions for their platforms. There was also a lot of focus on developing our social media. During the year, we regularly ran promotions with gifts and discounts, and in autumn, we traditionally took part in the global Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns. All these efforts contributed to higher sales performance, product visibility, and customer loyalty.
