The Levenhuk Bruno BASE 20x80 binoculars, when paired with a tripod, form a complete kit for observing the wonders of the night sky. Simply unfold the tripod, mount the binoculars, and you are ready to begin your astronomical observations! Exploring space through binoculars offers several advantages. There is no lengthy assembly or setup like there is with a telescope. You can observe with both eyes simultaneously and enjoy a wider field of view. Transport and storage are also simpler. This astronomy kit is an ideal gift, as everything you need is already included.
Levenhuk Bruno BASE 20x80 Binoculars
These astronomical Porro prism binoculars have 20x magnification and 80mm objective lenses. They gather enough light to produce a clear, high-contrast image in any lighting conditions. With these binoculars, you can observe the Moon in fine detail, watch meteors, make out Jupiter’s moons, and view nebulae. Image quality is ensured by lenses made from K9/ZF1 optical glass and prisms made from BaK-4 optical glass. The lenses and prisms are fully multi-coated, which enhances image brightness.
The aluminum body ensures a long service life even under intensive use. The binoculars are not fully sealed, so using them in the rain is not recommended, but they can resist water splashes. The body is rubber-armored for a comfortable and secure grip. The eyecups are also made of rubber. They fold down, which is convenient for eyeglass wearers. User comfort is further enhanced by the generous 18mm eye relief. The binoculars have a central focusing wheel, which is the classic method for achieving sharp focus. The right eyepiece has a diopter adjustment ring.
The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod using the built-in adapter with a standard 1/4" thread.
Key features:
- Designed for observing stars, meteors, and nebulae
- Bright, detailed images thanks to coated BaK-4 glass optics
- Durable aluminum body with a rubberized surface and IPX3 standard splash protection
- Diopter adjustment, fold-down eyecups, and generous eye relief for comfortable use with glasses
- Standard tripod mount with 1/4" thread
