Description

Levenhuk Skyline BASE 80T Telescope provides the opportunity to study near space in all of its diversity. This refractor allows you to observe lunar craters about 5 km in diameter, Jupiter, Saturn and its satellites, and the Mercury phases. This model can also be used for terrestrial observations. Thanks to the rich functionality, there is no need to buy eyepieces or other optical accessories. The telescope is a great gift for any aspiring astronomer and as such it will bring a lot of joy to its owner!

The lenses of the telescope are made of glass. The outside surfaces are covered with an anti-reflecting coating that improves the image brightness. The optics deliver a sharp and contrast image and allows for studying even dim objects in the starry sky. The telescope is mounted on an easy-to-use alt-azimuth mount. Even a kid can operate it: To point an optical tube at the object of interest, all you need to do is move it along the horizontal or vertical axis. The mount – sturdy and reliable – is easily fixed on an aluminum tripod. The tripod has extendable legs. There is an accessory tray that can be attached to the tripod.

This telescope comes with an impressive kit of accessories. In addition to a traditional optical finderscope, the kit provides you with two eyepieces with a different focal length and a diagonal mirror. Using these, you can quickly set up your telescope for different types of astronomical observations. A long-focus eyepiece is designed for exploring an extended area of the sky (a planet with its moons), a short focus eyepiece is used for detailed observations of the planets or the lunar surface. The diagonal mirror is essential during terrestrial observations.

Features:

  • Refractor on an alt-azimuth mount is a simple and reliable telescope for beginners
  • Fully coated lenses made of optical glass provide a sharp image even at the ultimate magnification
  • An extended set of optical accessories in the kit: everything necessary for observations is already included
  • An optimal choice for lunar, planetary, and terrestrial observations

The kit includes:

  • Telescope optical tube
  • Alt-azimuth mount
  • Aluminum tripod with an accessory tray
  • 6x24 optical finderscope
  • SR4mm (125x) eyepiece
  • H20mm (25x) eyepiece
  • Diagonal mirror
  • User manual and lifetime warranty
