Description

A wealth of interesting discoveries awaits your kid with Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Microscope & Telescope Kit! The kit includes a biological microscope with an experiment set and a refracting telescope. These instruments feature high-quality optics, reliable design, and convenient use. The guide is written especially for the youngest explorers in a user-friendly and easy-to-read manner. The kit is designed for children over 6 years of age. Teenagers will also enjoy exploring the skies or the micro world with Levenhuk LabZZ MT2.

The main advantages of this kit are:

  • The kit is created for children, and it's easy to handle and safe to use
  • The telescope allows for both astronomical and terrestrial observations
  • The erecting eyepiece can be used as a pocket microscope
  • The microscope features a wide range of magnification
  • The kit includes everything needed for a beginning biologist

Telescope

Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Telescope is a refractor that uses lenses to gather and focus light. Its 50-mm objective lens allows for both astronomical and terrestrial observing.

The telescope comes with two eyepieces. The H12.5 mm eyepiece (40x) is used for observing astronomical objects such as the Moon and Solar System planets. 18-mm erecting eyepiece helps you get direct (not inverted and not mirrored) images of observed objects – that’s why it is convenient to use for terrestrial observations. The erecting eyepiece can also be used as a pocket microscope.

The telescope is installed on an easy-to-use altazimuth mount, which allows for moving the tube horizontally and vertically. A compact table tripod provides a stable and reliable base for the instrument.

Microscope

Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Microscope is designed for observing transparent samples. The kit includes three eyepieces producing 75x, 300x, and 900x magnifications. Convenient revolving nosepiece allows for quick magnification switch.

To start observing, place a sample on the microscope stage located above the mirror. If the illumination provided by the mirror is not enough, use the built-in illumination source.

The kit includes everything needed for working with the microscope, as well as an extensive set of ready-to-use microscope slides and instruments for preparing new slides.

  • Telescope
