Discovery Channel informs, entertains and inspires its audiences around the globe about the world in all its wonder, diversity and amazement. Offering millions of people the chance to discover, and satisfy their curiosity, Discovery offers a compelling mix of stories across genres including science and technology, exploration, adventure, history and in depth behind-the-scenes glimpses at the people, places and organisations that shape and share the world we live in.

We proudly present the Discovery optics series that is produced by Levenhuk and endorsed by Discovery.

Levenhuk Discovery Spark 769 EQ is a Newtonian reflector with a spherical mirror that is perfect for beginners who want to explore deep-sky objects: nebulae, clusters, and distant galaxies. Thanks to this telescope, you can see many of these objects and others from the Messier catalog. Near space, namely, the Moon and the planets of the solar system, will be available for observation too. The colorful book “Space. Non-Empty Emptiness” will help you refresh your knowledge of astronomy and explore the night sky.

The optical tube of the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 769 EQ Telescope is manually operated with an equatorial mount with slow-motion control. It makes it easy to track objects across the sky without letting them out of sight. It is a feature that will be appreciated by those who want to give astrophotography a try. The glass optics of the telescope has a special anti-reflective coating, which significantly improves the light transmission and, therefore, the quality of images. The celestial bodies are seen clearly and sharply.

A sturdy aluminum tripod will help you stabilize the telescope at a selected observing location. The tripod height can be adjusted to the user. The accessory tray in the center stores replacement eyepieces, mounts, etc. Everything that you might need for observation is already included.

  • Reflector with a spherical mirror and an anti-reflective coating
